Our Story
Bol Maluach Kuot
CEO & Founder
Born in South Sudan and raised in the Kakuma Refugee Camp, Kenya, Bol Kuot brings a unique perspective and firsthand experience in overcoming language and cultural barriers. His journey from the refugee camp to Canada has shaped his deep understanding of the challenges faced by those navigating language barriers in a new country.
With over a decade of experience as a professional interpreter in Dinka and Swahili languages, Bol recognized the critical need for reliable and culturally sensitive language services. This insight led him to establish Afrilink, a visible minority-owned business based in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Today, as CEO, Bol leads Afrilink's mission to Connect, Communicate, and Conquer language barriers. Under his leadership, we specialize in African languages and provide comprehensive services including on-site interpretation, video remote interpretation, document translation, and cultural consulting.
